The AI disclosure exists because the RICS standard on the responsible use of artificial intelligence came into force on 9 March 2026, and because a customer paying for a document that a machine drafted is entitled to know exactly that.
It names which parts of the pipeline are automated, which are not, and what a chartered professional is personally answerable for when they sign.
