The gate

A citation that does not resolve stops the draft.

This is the part nobody else will build, because it makes the system slower and occasionally makes it refuse to produce anything.

A language model asked to write a planning statement will cite policies. Some of those policies will not exist, some will exist in a different authority, and some will have been superseded when the plan was re-adopted and renumbered. All three read identically on the page.

So every reference in a Wren draft is resolved against the source document itself before a human ever sees it. If a citation cannot be matched to a real passage in a real adopted document, the draft does not proceed to review. It fails, and it fails loudly, which is the only safe way for it to fail.

Which documents you need is not our choice.

Three different councils will disagree about what a case needs, and they could never have agreed, because each publishes its own validation list. So the set comes from your authority’s list rather than from a package we sell.

If your route needs four documents you are quoted for four. If it needs nine you are quoted for nine, and you see which nine and why before you pay anything.
